Telling a Different Story Project
Telling a Different Story (TaDS), begun as a pilot project in 1997/98, ran for three consecutive years. Like many of the special projects that WiER is involved in, they are made possible through partnerships with other groups working the arts, education, business, or publishing, and TaDS is a perfect example of this, as it was offered in partnership with the Oakville Arts Council.

The Turning Points Conference is a one-day event hosted by The Learning Partnership, as the culmination of the Turning Points essay contest which is open to all high school students in the Greater Toronto Area. The Imagine Project
About the Imagine Project
The Imagine project, an on-line writing and radio broadcast project that ran in the fall of 2001, was created by CBC Radio and Radio-Canada's La Chaine Culturelle, with funding support provided by the Canada Council for the Arts. Writers In Electronic Residence was pleased to be offered the opportunity to work with the CBC on this creative endeavour.
