Accounts will be emailed to schools this week. We have been juggling a bit with March breaks, which vary across the country. Our usual "introductory period" will operate through March 26, and the first writing salons will open on schedule on March 29.
The Writers in Electronic Residence (WiER) program is pleased to present this Wired Writers Podcast featuring a reading and discussion by poet Carolyn Smart. The Wired Writers Podcast is available from our main page or on iTunes.
PLEASE NOTE - We have set the "Parental Advisory" to "none," but please keep in mind that this Podcast is intended primarily for secondary level students. Some teachers and parents of elementary level pupils may wish to consider whether all the material here is appropriate for younger children they may be working with.
WiER is pleased to report that secondary level registrations are going well, and that an elementary level program is beginning to form for our spring term. Elementary level classes are encouraged to register now. WiER's spring term runs from March 15 to June 4, 2010.

WiER is pleased to announce that Marlene Bourdon-King is serving as our Program Moderator for the winter term. Marlene's students have participated in WiER for many years, and two of her classes have joined us this term. Welcome and welcome back!
WiER is very pleased to announce that author Robert Priest will join us as a wired writer for the winter term. Robert is very experienced in WiER, and works with all levels, including our secondary level program this term—welcome back!
