Writers in Electronic Residence (WiER) is seeking nominations for volunteer members for its Board of Trustees. Founded in 1988, WiER operates now as a national, charitable, non-profit foundation in alliance with OISE/UT (Education Commons) and the Canadian Education Association.

The Foundation supports WiER's online creative writing programs linking professional Canadian authors with schools. WiER is at the mid-point of its current strategic plan (2010-13). We anticipate continuing our focus on organizational development (e.g., national Board of Trustees; Board of Advisors) as we approach our next strategic plan.
